The Realistic Joneses, written by Will Eno, premiered at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, in April–May 2012. Following its successful premiere, the play transferred to Broadway. Previews began at the Lyceum Theatre on March 13, 2014, and the production officially opened on April 6, 2014. The Broadway cast featured Tracy Letts (Bob), Toni Collette (Jennifer), Michael C. Hall (John), and Marisa Tomei (Pony), again under the direction of Sam Gold. Scenic design was by David Zinn, with costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Mark Barton, and sound design by Leon Rothenberg. The production closed on July 6, 2014, after 105 performances.
